Pioneer Junior Academy Mission Statement

Pioneer Junior Academy's (PJA) ultimate goal is to lead children to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.  It is our mission to work alongside parents in helping their children develop a fuller understanding of God by providing a loving Christian educational environment.  We strive for a balance of mental, spiritual, academic, physical and social growth.

Pioneer Junior Academy Supporters

PJA is supported by three Seventh-day Adventist Churches.  The Keene, Drewsville and the Mountain View SDA Churches support our school.  In addition, we are a part of the Northern New England Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, the Atlantic Union Conference of Seventh-day Adventist and the other higher organizations of our denomination.

PJA Educational Standards

PJA works in harmony with the standards for education set forth by the North American Division of Seventh-day Adventist (NAD).  PJA is a faith based educational system. All subjects are taught with an understanding of God as Creator.  We work with students to build a saving relationship with Jesus Christ at PJA. We are transitioning to Common Core Standards in Language Arts and Math.  Science and Social Studies do not have Common Core standards.  However, we consider national standards in these areas as we plan teaching along with the NAD standards.
